Sanguine - LIVE - $100 giveaway
Sanguine is an Old School RuneScape server with a real economy, launching Saturday 12 September at 19:00 UK. It is open and playable right now. The economy resets at launch so everyone starts level, and the things that took time rather than luck carry over: your founder number, boss kill counts, collection log, achievements and donator rank.
$100 launch giveaway. Entries are open from 1 September to Sunday 20 September: $50 is drawn from everyone who votes and $50 from everyone who plays two hours. You enter by voting or by playing, not by joining anything.
Your loot is worth what somebody will pay for it. The Grand Exchange is a genuine player-driven order book with matching and escrow, not a shop-price skin, and drop tables, death costs and alchemy all price off the same set of item values. Your kit costs nothing, so everything above it is a drop, a craft or a trade: godswords, raids gear, best-in-slot, pets and cosmetics all have to be earned.
The newest content in the game is here. Sol Heredit in the real Fortis Colosseum, six phases where almost nothing he throws can be prayed against. The Doom of Mokhaiotl, the whole delve boss, with eight delve levels, endless deep delves and all four uniques. Yama, all three phases in the real imported arena, dropping the Oathplate armour and the Soulflame horn. The Mad Angel, and Vardorvis, the Leviathan and the Whisperer.
The rest of the boss roster is native, not stubbed. The Inferno (waves 1 to 68, plus TzKal-Zuk), the Chambers of Xeric (the Great Olm), the Theatre of Blood (Verzik Vitur, with solo scaling), the Tombs of Amascut (the Wardens), Nex and the Ancient Prison, Vorkath, Cerberus, Alchemical Hydra, the Corrupted Gauntlet, the Nightmare and Phosani's Nightmare, and Zulrah are all built against the actual OSRS wiki mechanics rather than a simplified copy.
Outside combat there is a full skilling lane, a collection log, combat and skilling achievements, a rebuilt bank and equipment interface, gear presets, a searchable boss drop-table viewer, and a leaderboard for kills and wealth. There is also a wiki generated from the live server, so every rate on it is the number the game really rolls.
The Wilderness is the premium lane rather than the whole game. Blood money is the universal combat currency: every boss in the game pays it, and the wild pays more. Blood revenants roam and grow stronger the deeper the wild goes, up to the rare Blood maledictus, alongside a parallel Blood Slayer track, and automated PvP tournaments run every hour.
This is an active hobby project. New content and fixes ship regularly, and it is run by someone who actually plays it. Expect rough edges, and tell us when you hit one. Bug reports and feedback are welcome.
